I noticed awful moments of jerky scrolling and slowdowns. But apart from that it's very good.

Looks like the game runs better on a C128 or C64 turbo hardware.

Just tested Bruce lee return of fury and the Super Mario Bros on my breadbin c64 and sd2iec, both work great!
The new Bruce Lee game is excellent, just feels like an expansion pack to the original which is good thing. Super Mario Bros is an excellent c64 adaption, but as noted by others, it does slowdown on stock machines. Seems to happen when there is more then a couple of enemies onscreen at once. Would be perfect if they could fix that. |

Apparently the C64 Super Mario Brothers port uses the NES code base for everything other than graphics & sound. The NES also uses a 6502, but it runs at 1.7x the speed of the C64 one. Given that, I'm rather impressed with the result. There is not that much slowdown once you consider the 1.7x speed difference

Well... I did play Elite on the C64 pretty heavily and that certainly was no stranger to slowdown

Well, that's just Nincompoop being Nincompoop, no surprise there.
Anyway, what's on the internet stays on the internet, nothing they can do about that. |

BigN, is loosing credits with such action. In a marketing point of view they would have been much inspired off congratulating the work done to bring this game at 1:1 to a machine that is less powerful and much older than the original hardware the game was made on. ZeroPaige has done an amazing job !!! Anyway, we're not going to rebuild the world and maybe this "To amend title 17, United States Code, to implement the World Intellectual Property Organization Copyright Treaty and Performances and Phonograms Treaty, and for other purposes. (in short DMCA)" is linked with the news where BigN's president states that he does not exclude the possibility of leaving the physical console market to provide only dematerialized games (FR article, use your favourite translation tool).
