Just bought and played "Secundus minimus", I really like that piglet so I'm just using this occasion to show a support and hopefully see this game finished.

Lately development has restarted, and the game has grown a lot.
Here's a new video preview:

[ Show youtube player ]

The video demonstrates these new features:
* shooting and enemies;
* pixel-perfect collision detection;
* new cells types;
* new cells effects;
* new cells color scheme;
* revised HUD;
* hiscore;
* better audio channels allocation policy.

Notes:
* the music has changed again and is again a temporary placeholder; it is a mix from the Italian theme of the Japanese anime Kotetsu Jeeg from the 70s;
* despite the video was uploaded in lossless quality, the compression applied by YouTube degraded it a lot;
* for more information, check out the other previews in the same playlist - or, of course, just ask ;-)

If you had not provided an explanation, I wouldn't have understood

There is one and only one version of kotetsu jeeg: the first italian version (Fogus voice). Arrangement, bass line, lyrics, energy that infuses you. A masterpiece!
I'm still singing it during the shower .

EDIT: saimo, congratulations for your game

Looks great. I like the console proportions.

Oh, and Michiaki Watanabe's original is still the best.

In fact, I couldn't think of a better song for the poweful "music mode"! (However, it will be replaced with an original tune.)

Amiga shmups generally have bigger sprites than those for consoles.

Great! A thinking man kind of shmup instead of a plain old bullet hell.
I'll get this once it's released. I forgot to ask: is it OCS/ECS/AGA PAL or NTSC?

Oh, and I'd go for a boxed version as they did for Worthy (still waiting for it to get here, grrrr)

Thanks for clarifying. I think I've seen only a couple of shmups for consoles (Axelay and another mech game for SNES), so I wasn't sure.

PAL AGA only. It's made for unexpanded A1200s.

Well, this is meant to be just a mini-game, so it won't get a physical release (I had asked for feedback about that when I didn't know yet exactly where the game was going, but now everything is clear). Ideally, I'd like to offer a free download, but I'm unemployed since almost 2 years, so it will come at $1.
