Would be handy to know who is actually in the team at present and how much progress has been made. This info. might help in kickstarting this important project again.

Looking back through past posts there was never any formal request by Akira to the masses for team members (although he may have recruited team members privately). In the process of posting about missing games on EAB, The Wolf joined Akira on the AGTW project. The Wolf, in turn, asked JudasEZT to help out by providing scans, but it's unclear whether he became a team member or not. Supposedly there was a coder doing work on a database for AGTW, but no names were ever mentioned. Fred Gasking (GTW64) seems to be the only person who's had a sneak preview (or at least the only person to publicly comment about it anyway).

Oooh teriffic, that was worth waiting 2 years for

How about someone here takes a vague admin/mod role and opens the site as a kinda-Wiki style site where anyone can add sections and info to the site and the admin/mod approves the modification before it goes onto the site. So, to be constructive, where do we take things from here ?

Does anyone have any contact with peeps in charge of the site [I guess Akira mainly]. I'm sure there can be some collaboration to ressurrect the still born site.

I personally nominate Imran, he seems to have a good knowledge of unreleased stuff on here.

Lets be honest.. unless somebody is willing to put in a lot of work, time and effor then it simply isn't worth it!

I think something like this requires a dedicated team of ppl, when you consider most of the active members on here are already involved witrh projects it looks bleak!

I've emailed Frank asking if I can take over the project. He's happy about it - I'm just waiting to hear back from RCK.

There is already plenty of info and screens for unreleased games in the HOL to get something up and running. I've also got the odd trick up my sleeve!

APoV issue 3 is also on the way.

Nice one man. If you need any help at all then I'm up for it. I've got low-mid range PHP skills (and mid range HTML coding) but any mundane data input stuff you need help with then I can probably do some stuff to help.

Woah, this is the first time I've seen so much action in the aGTW project page for ages.

Calm down everybody! In some ways, Akira is right. There is always a definite initial excitement in Amiga projects, followed by a sharp downturn in interest levels (around the point when the participants discover just how much work is involved).

I've attached a graph to demonstrate this phenomenon.

Don't worry, though - we'll work something out.

You're quick to the punch! I was going to wait a day or two first and then suggest that the HOL team take over the project if no-one showed any great interest. HOL has been attracting contacts from quite a few developers in recent months and we do have a fair few entries on unreleased games already, so it seemed like a natural progression.

Are you planning to take on the AGTW project independently, or did you envisage it would be a HOL project? I'd love it to be the latter with an additional support team (much like HOL is now), but it's entirely up to you as you're the big cheese now!

Yes, there is lots of HOL and EAB info to start with.

I think that it needs to be relatively independent but twinned with the HOL in some ways e.g. links or shared info. I'll have to think a bit about it.
