Akira, I like it so far. The red was a bit of a shock at first but I think it's different, which is good. Nice Japanese logo.

I've been thinking about the theme and while I like Japanese stuff, I agree with Frederic. Perhaps a more European look? (What's a European look anyway?) Hmm... stick a mug of pint in the logo giving it a friendly "Cheers! Welcome to the club!" look. I know Amiga users loved their drink. The mug would be slightly tilted, the hardy brew spilling out on the logo, giving a sense of motion. Let's drink to Amiga Games that Weren't!

Will it follows the looks of the front-frontpage, but I think Fred got a point. Still it looks cool and you wouldn't get any trouble with amiga nic or Tulip for stealing logo's and stuff

I have to say they all look very professional.

A big YES to the multi-coloured one.

And a big NICE ONE for doing the whole thing.

NYAH to shadows peeps :P They are so photoshop-y

It's multicolor because of the AMIGA "check" logo

I'll see how it all goes, its not easy to fit it with any layouts, thats why i changed it.

I think I should give a more decent reason why the shadow is no-no: it makes the text unreadable.

What the logo needs is a white outline for the text, which it did have, but dunno where it went.

The difficult thing about the multicoloured logo is combining it with other stuff to make a whole page. i can't keep the same scheme throughout the thing unless i want to create epilepic seizures

Next step: "oldschoolize" this logo

Question What about previews that look different from the final game?

@Akira,
Are you also going to feature games on your site which were published but look very different from the preview screenshots? I know the C64 GTW site features some games which looked very different in the final version (Timescanner for example).
On the Amiga, I have some preview screenshots of Lemmings 2 - the tribes, Blues Brothers, ATV, Donk! Disposable Heroes, Entity, Soccer Kid and many more which did not appear in the final game.

About Frak!:
The screenshots were scanned from a full-page preview in CU Amiga, August 1991. Maybe I will scan in the full-page previews when I find some spare time.

Does anyone know if there was ever a playable demo released of The Chaos Engine which featured 3 characters on screen at once?

That's a good point, Tim.

Personally, I don't see any interest in beta version with graphic less detailed or coloured (Fightin Spirit, for example), because the differences between this and the finished version is only a global restyling and nothing else.
But when we find evident changes, I think we can consider it not a totally different game, but at least a pre-working title which had many improvements (or worsening!), and maybe could be of some interest.

Spheris Legacy, Donk, Galactic, Lethal Weapon (and surely many others) have for example the main sprite totally different. Dunno if other gfx were changed, inserted or removed. Let's take good only the main sprite is changed... In this case we really need to insert this as a GTW?
Hmmm... quite doubtful... but we have to listen Akira's choice...

As wofl said, if the game changes heavily (Addams Family) then we will look for this prototype version.

wow! "Ramrod". what a deja vu when Ive seen the screenshots of this game. I ever asked myself how this game would play, I totally loved its graphics.. would be cool some version of this game come to the light.

Someone remembers of "Chinto´s Revenge" from Millenium? Ive got a mini preview and two or three screenshots in an old AmigaPower.
It seems to be a game programmed by a chinese/japanese guy, it had very lovely pictures. ingame graphics are a bit rare. If you want I can make a scan.
