Help General Device Failure
So I did a fresh install on a 8Gb SD card on WinUAE
I choose SFS file system and broke the card into 3 partitions: 1x 500Mb and 2 x 3,75~ Gb All is well on WinUAE, no errors. When I try the SD card on the Amiga I get a General Device Failure error on the second partition. ![]() The first 2 (system 500mb and 3,75 Gb partitions) are good. What is the problem? How can I fix it? Last edited by Eny-; 01 May 2017 at 17:53. |

upgrade OS to 3.5 or 3.9
or upgrade scsi.device to V43 or install NSDPatch or downgrade SFS to 1.84 or use PFS-AIO instead of SFS or use no more than the first 4GB of the card and leave the rest empty. (i.e. delete the third partition). RTFM: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=61666 |
