[request] More CD32 pad support patches

Alien Breed/Alien Breed:

extra Buttons: for M=holo-map, Space=Intex Computer System,Alt keys= for weapon selection. - DONE - (by Jotd and Stingray)

Bubble Bobble:
- DONE - (by Jotd)
[/COLOR]

A jump button.

Watchtower: - DONE - (by Jotd)

An extra button for the grenades. You can't run and shoot at the same time. Is this fixable too? A really nice soldier game.

Wolfchild: A jump button

Parasol Stars: - DONE (by Jotd)

A jump button.

Aladdin - DONE - (by Psygore)

You can select either the second button for jump or throwing apples. Would be nice to have an extra button for both then.

Legends (Disk)

There is a CD32 version but it lacks the music due to CDDA. Would be nice to have the same CD32 controls here.

Brian the Lion

Would really profit from an extra jump button. The jump mechanics are smooth and fast. Not like other for 1-button joystick optimised games.

Pinball Dreams - DONE - (by Jotd)

Full support for a CD32 pad control.

Cedric

A jump button! Nearly unplayable with a pad.

Turrican Trilogy

Full support for CD32 controller. Preferable are Red = Fire, Blue=Jump, rest on the other buttons. Turrican III already has jump button ingame. But it would be great to have a separate button for releasing the Plasma rope (it's awkward in the Amiga version). Look a Earok's great CD32 Turrican Trilogy. He nailed it there with the button mapping.

Turrican 1 and 2 - DONE - (by Jotd)

More requests in this thread:

Deliverance : A jump button ( can be hard because up is used with fire for melee attack) = DONE (by Jotd)
First Samurai : A jump Button - DONE - (by Jotd)
Doodle Bug : A jump Button - DONE - full CD32 controls by by CFOU!
Ninja Warriors : A jump Button - DONE - (by Jotd)
Gods : A jump Button ( up is needed to face lever) - DONE - (by Jotd)
Nicky Boom 1 & perhaps 2 : A jump button
Risky Woods : A jump button = DONE (by Jotd)
Zool (AGA disk version) = A jump button
Flimbo's Quest: A jump button DONE (by Jotd)

In Alien Breed you need to shoot near computer to enter ICS, I think additional key is not possible as it require some external resident application to identify player position.

No, you have to press space to enter the Intek Computer System. Should be mappable to a button easily.

I agree with jump button for Parasol Stars

I've mentioned this before and I would like extra buttons for Goal! It seems a work possible only for a one person expert in deciphering this game

second button for switch zoom
third button for substitutions
fourth button for instant replay (it would be very nice)
fifth button for save goal

Joy1 to start game 1p and Joy1 on Joystick 2 to start a game of Shadow Warriors very simple and helpful

It can't be played otherwise without a keyboard. No response from Dark Angel is he/she still around?

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of WHLoad CD32 games with full CD32 pad support that we can test our new CD32 controller on?

Cybernoid 1 / 2, Car-Vup, Bloodwych, Mega Lo Mania, Midnight Resistance.

All using the same CD32 pad reading code.
(not sure this is the right thread for this though!)

is it just me or can the player1-troops in north and south still only be moved with the mouse?

i've pm'ed cfou a while ago, but no response yet. so my request would be a version that can be completely controlled with a cd32-pad. no mouse or keyboard needed.

escape/backspace to retreat sould be mapped to the pad as well.

it would be very nice if someone (cfou?) could have a second closer look at this.

thanks a lot!!

http://whdload.de/games/Stardust.html

Stardust would be good with 2 Button support so you can select weapon, it use space bar currently.

I was surprised it wasn't in there.

Cedric is CD32 compatible and the game still uses only 2 buttons, lame. The game needs a jump button.

Alien Breed 92 SE is on CD32 and that version appears to support the pad and is HD bootable
- Blue: Map (Intex when standing over console)
- Yellow: Weapons
- Green: Pause
- Yellow while Paused: Abort

My votes for CD32 pad support:
Alien Breed (non special edition)
Battle Toads (agreed with Viddi: this'd be a totally different game with jump support)
Barbarian
Epic
Final Fight
Hard N Heavy (jump and weapon select)
Moonstone
Street Fighter 2
SOTB 2 (though I figure this'd probably be next to impossible! Although there was a gamepad version of the game on Mega CD),
