Big 6 (two versions, one WAV and one MP3) on the file server (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633) in the folder 'CD32'.

Whoa! 4mat on here too! :O

Slightly off-topic... How involved were you with the integration of your music for Dizzy: Prince Of The Yolkfolk into the final product?

Every version of it I ever played had a bizarre glitch where the drums went out of sync or didn't play at all, so the music never worked quite right.

I did a WHDLoad install of the compilation Dizzy's Excellent Adventure and fixed it so it finally plays as you wrote it! Think it's the first time I ever played through that game with the music sounding right, without ripping it to a custom player.

Hi. In the Amiga days I was freelancing so I'd just send off the finished music and that'd be it. A lot of these games I've only seen recently (thanks to emulation), some of them sound pretty different to what I originally wrote. I can't remember if that one used the chiptracker player or PT, chiptracker had seperate tracks rather than patterns, so maybe one got corrupted somewhere. Thanks for doing the fix.

That Magicland Dizzy AGA sounds so awesome!!!! may I suggest it be....... ummmm..... "unleashed into the wild" during a quiet period? The OCS original is wonderful enough but this sounds like another new level of excellentness in itself.

It's also nice to know that there are ways of getting the floppy music back in Fantastic Dizzy CD³². If a true AGA floppy version never gets out then we can always make the next best thing.

Regarding earlier posts about the enhancements, Hexview of the main file reveals this ...
Apologises if it was pasted before, i had a quick scan and didnt see it.

Fantastic Dizzy - CD32 version (C) 1994 Derek Leigh-Gilchrist. Written for a laugh just so I could listen to Prince while playing dizzy on CD32!! AGA enhancements sould be obvious but for people in doubt here is a listof improvements.... Game runs in harmony with Operating System and is hard-disk installable - Ingame screen is 32 pixels wider than A500 version - Background parallax plane is now a full scrolling bitmap image in its own 16 colour palette - A500 version used repeated 64 wide static strips in the second half of game palette - 24bit colour fades (check those morning-day-eve-night fades!) - Depack times have been greatly improved (due to more CHIP memory on the A1200) - Game will always run at 50 frames per second (hopefully!) - Game doesn't multi-load anymore - By seperating the parallax into another palette I have freed up 7 extra colours for sprites (BOBS) on the gamescreen - There is now a SAVEGAME option (press ESC during game...!) - etc. etc....!!

Still hope that one day we can see this in action. I doubt Codies would even give a shizzle nowadays - we've been able to freely grab both floppy and WHD versions of the original within this community without being burned for yonks now.

Does anyone know how to get in contact with Delz?

He hasn't been back on in some time. Thanks.

Welcome mate, good to have more people of worth around.

So, obviously the Amiga is a rather dead machine commercially, how was your transition to other machines?
