Thanks for the reply, meynaf. If I may make a suggestion: I think it would be good to put a README next to the patch archive, and inside the archive too, so that people can find out easily which game version the patch is for and what it exactly fixes.

I initially downloaded the RARed version that lies next to that fix and tried to use that fix on it. I spent a lot of time figuring out why the game doesn't work. The fact that the directory name says "Fix for the cracked version" didn't mean anything to me, at that point. It took me a while until I decided that I could try the patch with the game installed from the generally available ADFs, which finally worked.

I don't remember exactly what was in the archive. It's been quite a long time

But if you've found a RAR'ed version then it has not been made by me !

Sorry for refreshing, but has anyone got working copy of Evil's Doom, please? I have tried one i have found but it comes up with an error regarding pixel it guru error style...

Interesting: I have just checked files and have done binary comparition of the Meynaf patched version 1.54 and the CD 1.80 version, and they are completly identical apart from the version string changed.

The version i have cannot Save a game, do you know how to solve this?
