Elbox Winner ZIV Busboard Questions...
Hey Guys,
I finally got the parts in to bring up my second A1200 Desktop, which I am happy to say is now rocking pretty hard. So I think I am finally ready to start putting together an A1200 Tower. I have a 1200 Tower with the Winner Z4 busboard in it that I got from a guy off ebay. The only thing is I am lacking the manual for the Z4 board. If anyone has this manual scanned, I could really use a copy, please. The unit has a keyboard adapter board in it. I am pretty sure this little board will allow me to use a PC keyboard on the 1200, but I am not sure I want to. I think I would like to use a regular 2000 keyboard, but was told a long time ago that I can not just swap pc/Amiga keyboards without blowing something up. So I am a little nervous about trying a keyboard on this 1200 without knowing first if it is safe. Any help would be greatly appreciated... I also have the Mediator ZIV PCI busboard for the Winner Board, so once I get this box up it should be pretty rocking. I have a video card, nic, and sound card for the box. I had read somewhere that the Spider USB card is just a rebranded NEC card. There are cards that look exactly the same on ebay for $8, so was thinking of trying 1 of them in the last slot. If anyone has any info on this or any other relevant subject, I would appreciate any advice you may have.... Thanks, Info-Seeker |
