Not exactly a game name but..
I`m after a name/manufacturer of a joystick.. that a mate of mine has...
I`ll describe it.. A normal 9 pin d type.. lead... the joystick is just the handheld part... no suckers.. no base... so I`m guessing it`s either mercury switches or some sort of pendulum thing... it`s black and red ( usual ) .. ANyone have any ideas?? Actually I have a pic Pic1 and another Pic2 Last edited by stainy; 16 October 2008 at 10:43. |

I remember them, didn't have one but I'm sure my mate did. Have to get in touch with him to see if he knows the name & manufacturer

Could this be a newer model?
http://www.aositilt.com/Joystick.htm Hmmm. Sounds interesting Edit: Check this out quote "Baseless Joystick has no moving parts, very light and may be shaped in many user-friendly shapes" Ooooh! Excellent for the pervs I guess Last edited by DH; 16 October 2008 at 13:40. |

Yes true, but maybe these were the original manufacturers?
Somewhere in their archives could be the one you're looking for. Maybe you should contact them and see. It may be worth a try they may be able to point you to the original manufacturers of the one you're looking for. |

My brother and i had one of those joysticks, it's using mercury iirc. And it was pretty useless in platformers as you couldn't really stand still.
I think it was sold with a base but you obviously didn't need to use it. |
