Why is the keyboard not working ?!

Hi all,

I've just started with winUAE, and it seems to be a really tough start -.-

I'm trying to run Santa's Xmas Caper on WinUAE, the game starts... but the keyboard is not working!! I've pressed every button on the keyboard and still nothing!! I checked the forum and the input settings but no results..

Please, can anyone help?

Sorry I cannot try the game right now to help you directly but to quickly troubleshoot could you try running the Workbench (or anything else) and see if you can indeed type something (running a command line, renaming a file....).

With the same configuration ofc.

If you can type, then it is specific to the game.
If not then it comes from your configuration (or perhaps some conflicts with the hardware. I am sure Toni will want the logs in such a case ).

I went to this guide to install workbench 3.1, but I couldn't get past this step:
http://www.lemonamiga.com/help/tutorial_1/6.php because there is no "Disk Drives" tab... =/

I'm new to this so I don't know how to "test" the keyboard or what program to use could you please guide me in more detail if that's alright ?

Thanks in advance

It works!!! Thank you thank you

Now just a quick question, how do I change the layout of the keyboard? Having to play with W,A,S,D and the left Alt-Key is a little weird ;p
