New logo for Amiga Mag Rack
I have been doing some testing on a responsive version of the Amiga Mag Rack and was thinking that it might be a good time for a new logo. Is anyone here bored/excited/thrilled/inspired enough to make a better logo for the site?
Here's a mockup of the current state of the site, and a slightly better logo that I knocked up this evening. |

100% well meant feedback:
Logo looks good. If anything it is a bit top heavy (amiga text vs checkmark). Try letting the checkmark extend above the amiga text slightly? And/or perhaps try putting checkmark next to amiga and letting magazine rack be full width below both? I'd also loose the color fade around the white top banner (and any other 'box fade out' effects) And finally, on big screens I'd add a tiny bit more spacing ('white space', although not white in this case, a larger left margin, etc) Keep up the good work and feel free to ignore completely |

It looks good, but old one was not bad too. What RACK need is more content.

What do you have against the colour fades? I think it looks pretty dull without them. They're just CSS gradients - I've attached a mobile type screen without the gradients and the new logo. Regarding the whitespace, yes agree on large screens but on mobile I think Bootstrap is a bit weird wasting 15px on each side when you have such a small width as it is. Quote:

http://www.bombjack.org/amiga/magazi...cd32-gamer.htm looks here and maybe You will find some new content. I remember that one day I was asking for missing issues of Amiga CD32 Gamer (I'm still looking for issue 21 an 22).
