Silly Question

Hello my loves,

I’ve done really well setting up my A500+ with accelerator, RAM expansion, fCF card etc.
Anyhow, I installed kickstart 3.1 for some music software compatibility, and I’ve got a simple question.

I was wondering if I could install Workbench 3.1 on top of my current 2.1 install, or whether I’d need to start with a blank slate? If that’s the case then I might not bother as I have it set up quite nice.

I can’t remember how it works. I’m away at the mo so won’t see my Amiga for a couple of days anyway.

Thanks.

I would say a clean install of 3.1 would be best. Making a note of things such as extra libs, c, and startup sequence in your current install.
But if your happy with 2.1 and no pressing issue that requires 3.1 then might as well enjoy your setup if its as you like

Yeah I’ll probably sod it.

There’s nothing I can’t run at the mo.
