This is the MacLikeDock. Well, here I'm not running it from AmiStart like James, but from the WBStartup with an script. The icons move up like in a Mac bar when you move the cursor:

This is a great looking setup.
I tried the latest version. Followed the instructions and the special unpacker he said to use had a problem at the end of extracting the AFA1.2 file (looks like files or drawers with no names). The result is a series of crashes upon bootup, Most having to do with fonts, some with memory. I've pushed the memory sliders up very high in WinUAE for this. Any suggestions? |

Glad I helped you. I've done an installer for SkinnableClock and MacLikeDock for AmiKit for Pc. When Jan finishes his vacations I will ask him if he wants to use it...
Skinnable changes skins changing Environments (WB, Magellan or Scalos have different ones), and I've added some icons and programs to launch from MacLikeDock. The problem making new icons for it is that they have to have alpha channel, so after searching this is the way with ImageConverter: Save the normal image: Code:
ImageConverter Sys:#?.info -of Ram:%f_n -f PNG -img 0 Code:
ImageConverter Sys:#?.info -of Ram:%f_s -f PNG -img 1 Last edited by Retrofan; 31 July 2013 at 12:25. |

@ Retrofan & themamboman
Thanks for your comments, sorry I am so late responding, apart from the usual summer distractions I have been busy putting together a new version, and here it is: http://www..com/download/3n...i/AfAWB_1.3.7z I almost got a release out for Christmas as this image shows: Have upgraded it quite a bit since then though, these images show a few of the new features: |

These are definitely beautiful workbench images.
I found that I had to bump the video card RAM to at least 32MB (64 works better) for a 1440x900 laptop fullscreen effect. Also, the system RAM had to be pretty high compared to a real Amiga to finish loading. Going to try these new versions today. |
