Using a VGA monitor with WB3.0

I acquired an adapter on the weekend and would like to set it up.

I was wondering what process you need to follow to hook up a PC monitor to an Amiga running WB 3.0 (an A1200). More specifically, how to change the setup of a system hooked up to an 1084S monitor to a VGA monitor, and back, given that if I need to select a screenmode that the monitor can't display in both cases (eg. DblPAL for the 1084 and PAL for the VGA monitor).

I've added the Multiscan, DblPAL and Super72 monitor drivers to the DEVS:monitors drawer, but I have stopped short of changing the screenmode as I don't want to risk damaging my current monitor. Mode promotion is turned on under the icontrol prefs, and I'm currently running the PAL driver at maximum overscan, with the 1084S hooked up.

Will changing the screenmode to DblPAL damage the 1084S?

If DblPAL does not work with my VGA monitor, is there an easy way of changing it back (given that DblPAL won't work with the 1084)?

Will the 15kHz modes damage the VGA monitor (for example if a program decides to open up a 15kHz screen when executed.)?

Can you have an A1200 simultaneously connected to both a VGA monitor (via the RGB connector) and a 1084S (via the composite) so that you can view both scan ranges?

1084 will only work with PAL modes and not DblPAL or other modes as that requires a multiscan monitor.
For VGA monitors you need the VGAOnly driver install to use the higher resolutions.
On Screenmode, rther than SAVEing a setting, click USE instead, and if it goes wrong you can just reboot to reset to previous setting.

To use two monitors at the same time, you need two video ports, the built in one and one from a graphics card such as a Blizzard Permadia card.

The best thing to do is buy a Scandoubler so that you can use AGA and VGA modes at the same time.
