MCI CD Audio seems to only accept calls from single thread (thread that opened MCI). Calling from another thread returns only weird unrelated error message.. Fixed in next release.

dont know if its still worth mentioning, but the HD led is still the wrong way round on my G15 keyboard no matter which of the three keys I attach it too and usb mode enabled.
I don't use G15 anymore (switched to Bluetooth Desktop MX 5000 keyboard, I have habit of replacing PC components very regularly..) Will be fixed in future when/if I can duplicate it..

Hi Toni,

in the recent 0.112 release of MAME they added CD32 (arcade machine) support - I was wondering if you had any involvement with that or if you ever worked with the MAME/MESS guys at all?

There was some with Arcadia support but none with CD32.

hmm i had posted something here but its gone ..

in latest winuae beta screens wont switch between "hardware" and "host" on left panel.. (this doesnt happen on older official winuae)
normally you could click on hardware.. and then on host or vice versa.. in this version you cant.. if you are on hardware page. and you click on host.. it is still showing hardware page.. so in order to make a workaround for that in this beta.. if you are on hardware page.. click on another page and then you can click on host page.. then it works..

and customized drivesounds still dont work (only 1.3.3 works)

Because it was moved. Drive sound problem is not beta-specific.

<snip>

Allowed posts in beta thread:

- bug reports but make sure bug is NOT in previous offical version. (Old bug -> separate thread)

There is no replacement for listed obsolete entries, they are completely obsolete, just resave the config to fix it

Maxtransfer has nothing to do with memory address in the log.
No, I was just pulling things from the log in the hope of figuring out what went wrong.

I have no clue.

Beta 9: (RC 2. Perhaps final.)

http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae_1400b9.zip

- non-ASPI CDTV CD audio didn't always stop when exiting/reseting
- added dj [<mask>] command to debugger. Enable joystick/mouse input logging
- CDTV quickstart chip ram size set to correct 1M (correct config is more important than workaround for one game)
- Fixed another filesystem lock leak in ACTION_FH_FROM_LOCK (dos.library/OpenFromLock())
- do not allow unlocking of non-existing locks in filesystem. Previously it caused random memory corruption and also triggered following (previously unknown) 1.0b2 issue: "added workaround for AMOS filesystem emulation incompatibility (infinite loop in filesystem code) Reason for freeze unknown, proper fix unknown.. (filesystem emulation is confusing..)"
- external drive sound selection GUI didn't work if fdrawcmd.sys was not installed

Beta 10 (pre-final, 1-2 days to go..)

http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae_1400b10.zip

- in some cases dskready signal was set active even if floppy drive was empty and motor was running
- yet another undocumented CIA TOD related feature implemented. TOD does not latch (by reading TODHI) if CRB ALARM-bit is set. Fixes Batman the Movie (which worked in older versions only by accident..)

["last minute" bug fixes again, I shouldn't really do this but I couldn't refuse..]

Some CD32 games have scrambled graphics on default quickstart configuration (see the screenshots). You need to save the config and change the "blitter_cycle_exact" flag to "false" to have them running correctly.

This isn't beta related either but too lazy to move it. It isn't nothing new: 68020+/AGA modes are not and won't be fully compatible due to reason which have been explained multiple times. (and cycle exact in 68020+ modes is only a hack that either helps or breaks everything and it can change between versions..)

Why not to set blitter_cycle_exact=false for quickstart cd32 config then?

Oops, I thought you meant it is not set but needs to be set.. Hmm.. It really shouldn't be set except in "special" circumstances if using 68020+. (will think about this after 1.4 is out)
