As I said few weeks back, I started playing 'The Outer Worlds' on xBox One just to realize this game is better played with Mouse and Keyboard. Got it installed on PC, found out that my original PC can run it only on lowest possible settings (retro look) and on my other Gaming Laptop it runs just fine on high settings, but soon after game starts, laptops sounds like it is taking off the desk. (fan starts rolling out, all cores used and gpu @ ~90% - clearly I need new gaming PC ) Game has interesting story, nice settings and seems like mix of Fallout and Borderlands. Lots of shooting, upgrades, durability for items etc. Your decisions shape the story and others opinion on you, as well what options you can have in dialog. I see that people reported crashing, but I did not experience much of that. [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by Anubis; 26 November 2019 at 16:55. |

I'm playing the PC Engine SonSon II translation. It's a great little game. Never heard of it before I went browsing around.
info: http://www.pcengine.co.uk/HTML_Games/Son_Son_II.htm And! The music in stage 1 is rather good. [ Show youtube player ] |

Days Gone, nothing gets the adrenaline going like being chased by a horde of freakers.
Think of The Walking Dead with a 28 Days Later twist, these buggers are fast. |

Finished The Outer World on hard settings, not sure that I like to try on Supernova difficulty, as this was quite challenge. (On supernova your character gets tired and has to eat and sleep)
In past couple of days played Borderlands 3, AoE 1 & 2 DE, Halo Wars (first part only) and Lord of the Fallen. |

Just completed Halo Wars (first game) - what a nice story. Missed to fact we never owned xBox 360. Playing Dead Island at the moment...

I'm not spoiling anything. However I will say this: spend money to upgrade weapons to the maximum, besides modding them. Durability is worth every penny in this game and money is otherwise pretty useless anyway, the more you have the more you will lose when dying.

Been playing Borderlands 3... I like it but even with the many gameplay improvements it's still a pretty big downgrade compared to the previous games. Far less humor, far less hidden challenges to find (what is there is even marked with icons on the map...), pretty basic bosses and just less story overall. The worlds are beautiful in design but boring in layout.
Too bad, another game that Gearbox ruins with DLC scumming. Because it is pretty clear that this framework will only be a proper Borderlands game when you have all the planned DLC installed. |

Sam's journey on C64mini. Man, that supplied joystick is pure tragedy. It is so bad, that it is probably the worst controller I have ever held in my hands. The game is excellent, though.

Logical at the moment! Great puzzle game and helps me to sleep just like Pinball games do!
