I know. That's why the wording was chosen as stated above. Maybe I should change it to "all major platforms PLUS 68k Amiga"?
That's why Jakub has the source to see if he can make it fit. |

nice work.
btw - to revisit an old topic "Will you release the file format and/or source code for handling IPF files in the future?" "Yes, absolutely. To not do would be rather flawed preservation." any update as to when? It's been some years now. Last edited by BuZz; 13 July 2011 at 15:17. |

Other topic, other thread.
In short: Yes, it's already been given to several people & institutions. Major obstacle for some time now: We don't want to see the code abused commercially. Hardcore GPLers won't touch anything they can't infect virally. Others need GPL just to feel good. Still looking for a way to make them happy somehow. Maybe with plain format spec, which, after so many changes and rewrites, needs to be written from scratch. All manpower in the last two years was spent on making KryoFlux a reality. Anyone interested in using the lib source, e.g. for putting it into something (like Jakub for MiniMig): feel free to ask. If you want to know more or feel this needs more discussion _PLEASE_ let's move this to a separate topic. |
