Post Carrier Command (amigaemulation.com version)

Does anyone remember the once-popular site www.amigaemulation.com? When it used to be alive, I frequently visited it quite a lot (and these were the days before I discovered TOSEC). I remember one interesting item to grab from there was a special Carrier Command ADF which I believe had two different Carrier executables from two different versions (although I can't be definite on this one). It also had a nice documentation which I think ran automatically on startup so you could have a read, then when you closed it the Workbench core would run ("loadwb, endcli" and all that) where you could examine the disk and run the two executables from there.

It was a recently-compiled disk too, from 2000 (the year when the disk was downloadable from that site). I feel this deserves to be added to the TOSEC DATs, but unfortunately I appear to have had no luck in finding the same image anywhere again. Does anyone here still have it among their archives perhaps? I would be so grateful if this thing could be brought back to life and attention again, thankees.

The version which I've got from www.amigaemulation.com is actually a compilation disk (made by A-HA?) with a blue raster background appearing on startup and showing a typical "type 1 or 2"-screen with lots of greetings while playing some polka-like tune. On this disk Carrier Command (cracked by The Champs) and Quadralien are present.

It feels like this is not the image you speak about although I'm pretty sure I got it from amigaemulation in ADZ format. And actually I'm to lazy to check out if it's TOSECized or not. If you are still interesed, I'll upload it to the zone.

Huh? You sure this existed on the very same site? It does quite sound unlike any version of Carrier Command I've encountered however, so that may also be in for an interesting examining. So you can Zone it up if ya want.

Here is the original page which stated that the disk I'm thinking of was a new copy. Maybe the compilation disk you've got was replaced by this disk at a later point?

And I forgot to mention earlier, the site packaged all of its games in ADZ format (so I really shouldn't have said ADF initially).

According to the statement "Special Notes: This is a NEW copy sent in .. apparently 100%!" it looks like I got the old copy only...

That's okay, but I don't believe I ever got to try out the old copy anyway...... could you Zone it if you can please?

Hopefully one of the others managed to get the 2000 edition and kept it archived somewhere...
