there are two sets, one for ImageFX and one for Lightwave:
1) with install disks for ImageFX: VFXIFXCD1.ISO ( VFXIFXCD(1).ISO ) VFXIFXCD2.ISO ( VFXIFXCD.ISO ) ( i renamed the images, both are ok, each contains one set of effects ) start the installer on floppy disk then it will ask for the cd-image. 2) without install disks for Lightwave: VFX1-CD.ISO VFX2-CD.ISO Installer is on the cd-image itself. start installer on both images, to have both sets installed. from within the VFX program you can choose the active set (load new volume). |

it is the same "lw - essentials - part 1" video ( so the speaker says in both videos ), and only 49 minutes.
but keep both until someone else confirms too |

Macroform 1.0 was done for LW 3.5. the fix does work with LW 5.0r ( tested ). i found a little review of macroform 1.0 in "Amiga_Computing_Issue_099_May_96". i uploaded the two review pages as an pdf to the zone ( AC_Issue_099_May_96-Macroform_1.0.pdf ). btw. split merge extract etc on pdf files, works very well with pdfsam. I think I may have missed some of the earlier zoned items.
would be great if we could put it all in one place on the ftp server, that way i can tell what i already have at a glance as/when they're add thanks to every for their work. sadly i have nothing to help with your venture.... maybe some nicely rendered images when i've learned all these plugins! |

i guess 90% are still in the zone. look for my uploads. on fileserver you find in user-folder of amigagenie and videofx some files too.
i upload a multi-part archive to the zone. look into this too. Edit: wavefilter and wavefilter net+ does not work with lightwave 5.0r. option dialogs do not open. maybe also for an ealier version :/ even called plugins, like impact, some are external programs, you have to prepare some scenes. or powermacros - these are addons for modeller, where you can break an object into parts (shatter ) and make a scene file of the explosion (blowup 2). sparks is also standalone program. without manual it really no joy to play with them. but take a look yourself. if you render something, just put a picture here Last edited by emufan; 21 February 2013 at 23:01. |
