What device file controls 24hr vs AM/PM in the CDTV ROMs?
Thread title says it all. I'd like to get the CDTV display to go back to displaying AM/PM (after installing 2.30 ROMs) which it won't do right now. Anyone know why?

It’s the Oki MSM6424B RTC that provides 12/24 Hr clock modes.
Maybe this is slightly different from RTCs used in other Amigas, or the other ROM software just doesn’t have to write to the VFD display controller. They are both on a four bit port, so probably the same kind of file that writes to clock port in other versions of Kickstart. |
