--> Ask Dezz on it. Look here for contacts: http://wiki.amigaspirit.hu/index.php/ScanJuggler_en --> That is a very old and dumb one (like rev.0.00001 of the Lite) from 2001. Last edited by Mohican; 17 December 2013 at 15:36. |

I really like SJ's design but I am not sure what will happen if you install classic 2,5" disk into it's cradle.
I've already seen technical specifications of FULL/LITE versions but I am not sure what is the difference for "normal" user. What would I miss if I buy LITE version? |

Also one thing to be cleared: will be there some vertical banding through solid colours and a blinking effect when moving solid objects around the screen
sync delay? |

--> Only in interlaced modes. (It's because of differring image content in the fields that are displayed altogether. You need a rather special algorithm and much more processing power to avoid it. Perhaps it could be done by an add-on board.)

--> Not sure what do you mean by normal user, but mainly the Lite one lacks "flicker-fixing" (elimination of interlace line-flicker), frame-rate conversion, SHiRes support, DVI, expandability and some other handy features. Although, it may be good for only running games and demos. |

It will support some form of RTG. More on it a little later.

Sounds very interesting, hopefully you are adding some CyberGFX API support then it will work for some of my ports.
It wouldn't need much, the main functions I use are: Code:
// Setup stuff IsCyberModeID() BestCModeIDTags() GetCyberIDAttr() // Used for the actual screen update. LockBitMapTags() |

It's best to contact Dezz directly. Look at the link at the top of the page, please.
BTW, Dezz told one part couln't get delivered before the holidays, but early January. It doesn't affect production much as this one can be placed on the boards subsequently. 20-25 cards can be produced till beginning of January. The PCB of the newer Switcher could also be ordered to be prepared by beginning of January only. But that one can be assembled fast. ps. hush, there will be a little surprise for Christmas |
