GemX problem?

When loading GemX it freezes after the Kaiko Logo/Speech Sample or after the title screen whenever you push fire, it just locks on a black screen?

Any ideas?

Works with an older WHDLoad version. Try 16.8/16.9. The game has other issues reported on Mantis. Maybe it's time for an update.

I did try 16.7 and it did the same. I'll try other versions when I can.

Same problem as SolderPCB

Try´d a few Whdload versions.. still no luck

Some games are tricky, sometimes they work better on different winaue/whd version, sometimes You just need to decrease CPU speed.

Other wont work at all

But thats not WHDLOAD´s fault.

Like Arabian Nights from Kristalis.
It wont run on an CD32 with an Elsat-Promodule / Vector Shuttle, no matter what.

It would be to awesome if a WHDLOAD Slave could fix this but that is just a wet arabian´s dream

Any chance of someone to take a look at this slave?, needs updating, have tried various old whdload's inc 16.8 as suggested above and still locks with a black screen after the intro part.

There is. I have uploaded a quick fix to the WHDLoad site so the patch now runs. Black screen was caused by disk accesses which I have disabled. Bplcon0 color bit fixes have been added as well and a copperlist problem has been fixed too. I will do a proper update of the patch later but for now this should do.

My pleasure. I have actually made a completely new patch now! It uses RawDIC to create the disk image, has fixes for the TFMX replayer (found by Don Adan), supports high-score load/save and has some other fixes. It can be found on the WHDLoad site.

Hi Stingray, been testing it, i cant seem to get 1.3 to work (nothing shows up not even the first part), but 1.2 works so thats good news!

Did you reinstall the game? Just replacing the slave will not work!
