Kick Off 2 versions

How many versions are known and already listed in TOSEC?
I've found an original disk in my room and booted it with the A1200.

Seems like version 1.4g...German release...never seen it in TOSEC...
Anyone interest in this?

More than likely ADF is not possible, because of protection!
Anyway, nice find!
Probably SPS or WHDLoad team is interested!

All SPS versions are supported in the WHDLoad slave! If yours isn't, it is different to SPS 1245!

Yes, please upload to the Zone, I will update the WHDLoad patch to support your version. Ignore any errors that might appear when creating the image as these are protection related.

not necessary anymore...i've tried it today again and it works....

the only reason that makes me wonder is when i start the game the first time it needs much time to get to the title screen...

when i quit the game with DEL key it quits perfect and starting it again let the title screen appear really quick (faster than loading the game the first time).

could it be that the first time the slave check which version is used and after the slave "know" what version is running it runs faster ....?

No. When the slave is started for the first time it creates the data and tactics disks if none are found. This takes a while due to necessary OS swaps (this feature can be disabled with CUSTOM1=1).

I didn't read the readme file and was too impatient.
Started the game and saw a black screen...i thought it won't run, but i just have to wait a moment....

everything ok...nice done...

I have an ADF of the 1 meg version 1.6e and its the only version I have found that the practice mode works properly on. All other 1 meg versions I tried you can't move your players once they are on the pitch in 1 player practice mode.

It is cracked too as it has a cracktro and I don't believe its in TOSEC.
