Special character(s) no longer possible to enter from the keyboard

Version 4.10.1 is the last one I can enter ¤ character (Alt+empty key in English or ^/# in German near the Enter key). Since version 5.0.0 it's no longer possible. I found in the changelog the two following entries:
  • Key above shift and left of enter is now mapped to same physical location as key in Amiga keyboard.
  • Strange German-only keymap special #-key mapping removed.

I assume one of them is the culprit. Toni, can you bring it back? This is crucial for me. I've been using it almost every day for 8 years and I do not plan to stop doing so

Input panel -> Swap backflash/F11. (Note: it has 3 choices, not 2)
