Nice setup you have there Ratte
I used a Blizzard 1230Mk4(50mhz) in my A1200T/Mediator Setup for a while before I got a 1240, then 1260/PPC and to be fair along with a Voodoo(or in your case Radeon) Graphics Card its very snappy indeed Nice job on the mods, looks very nicely put togeter. Thanks for sharing Steve. |

What a very nice box you have! Nicely done. And the front USB port on the DVD case is just priceless!

Peepz mustn't have saw the outstanding mod of front USB on DVD-RW!!! What a clever and nice implemented idea man!
Your Auto switch is epic anyway, embedded to Radeon... is just pure win! Keep up the good work man! |

So many questions!
1- How are you sharing this video card RAM with the system?! 2- Any stability issues there? Any video issues? 3- What is the max RAM available on these PCI Radeon cards? 4- Is the RAM any faster/slower than normal Z3 RAM expansions? |

Some months ago I posted a detailed description to add the videomem by hand to the system.
Elbox added this "hack" to the pci.library v9.x (since 9.6 it also works on a1200) as a feature. All you have to do is to tell the picasso-system how much videomem you will use for gfx. The rest will be added to the systemmem automatical. (radeonmem 16mb = 16mb for gfxcard and 240mb fastmem / for 256mb radoens) No problems with videoquality. Max. amount of videomem for supported pci-cards are RadeonPCI 92xx with 256MB. (It is also the limit of the MediatorPCI-Bridge, which has to configured to 512MB in this case, because some extra memory is required for config and PCI-roms) Speed of Radeon and ZIII mem is nearly identical, the bottleneck is the ZorroIII-businterface. I send my defective CSPPC to a german (still active) reseller, it had still garante at this time (i think it had the 68k socket problem). Many emails and promises .. but the card never returns, when i started legal actions, it was still to late. The lawyers told me, that i had to act faster. Even the last email/promises are from 2009 ... (card under repair since 2001). |

Give my address to this reseller : I'll change the 68k socket for 30 euros + shipping back to you |

I have no voodoo .. and not the horsepower to play with the idea of a 3d enabled system with 256mb memcard named radeon.
I am unable to answer ... |

Hi Ratte,
I'm in admiration on your Radeon AutoSwitch, directly integrated to the graphic card. Is there a compatible model for the Indivision 4000 MK2cr ? Thanks in advance |

I am sorry, but I never had the chance to check the mk2cr pinout.
