Deepest sympathies, Belgy. You know I went through the same thing awhile back, and you know where you can find me if you want anything.

Belgarath you can rest assured that you're not alone. Exactly today, I got the information of my former neighbor (real good friend of mine, 50-something) that his beloved wife passed away. What a kind, down-to-earth soul she was. Eventually, brain was full of metastases, almost (literally) eaten up by this f#§king cancer.
She was 61 years old. |

Hi guys
Just a quick note to once again say thank you everyone for all your support, your messages means a great deal to me and I was staggered by the amount of donations as well which has been an immense help and I am humbled by how generous the people of EAB are. As for me, I'm trying to slowly build my life back together but it's difficult because Alyson was my life.. I don't know what else to say, thank you doesn't begin to express my gratitude to you all but I don't know what words could. So thank you everyone. |

Hi Belgy, I could have sworn I posted before in this thread (did it get deleted?) but just to convey my sincerest condolences. As I said before, I do remember you mentioning your wife when she was ill before. May God bless you for taking care of her all these years.

Sorry for your loss. I cannot sympathize never having lost a wife myself, but may God comfort you in this time of grieving and be a part of your journey from this point forward.

Hi Belgarath. It is nice to hear from you again because as i am sure i can speak for all of us, that we are very concerned about how you are dealing with all this. So i am glad you are taking our offer of help because you most deservedly need it.
You would never take any of those years back my friend, and very few of us in life ever experience the level of love you had, so take solace in that fact and please accept all of our future help. You cannot do this alone. Please look after yourself Belg. |

Look after yourself mate.
I can't say how sorry I am for your loss, it's a terrible, terrible thing to happen and I wish you and all your family the best because I know it must be a horrible time for you all. And, as I've said already, you've been a great member of EAB and it's clear from everyone's words that you really have played a part in making EAB such a great place. If you do get a few spare moments here and there, please do pop in and let us know how you're getting on. Again, take care mate. |

I've lost two family members a few years ago, and after a period of depression and sadness I've come back from it, and only sometimes do the thoughts of it resurface. Even if it doesn't feel that way when it happens, time is a healer. My condoleances to you and your family, and I hope your way back will be as painless as possible.

Belgarath,
My deepest condolences for what must be the hardest thing a husband has to deal with. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Wish you all the strength you need and if you do come back to EAB there will be many to welcome you back. Grieve and believe. |

Just a quick note to say that all the donations collected have now been transferred across to Belgarath.
Thank you very much to everyone for their kind and generous donations. I know that Belgarath and the family are extremely grateful and it definitely helped them alot with the costs of the funeral etc... Well done everyone, you should all be very proud of the great community we have here at EAB |
