1gb SRAM PCMCIA cards in A600
Chaps,
Some fella at work says I can gave a 1gb SRAM card when he finds it. The questions are.. Is there a card of such size? If I put this in my A600 (and it works), how much ram is the machine likely to show? Many thanks. |

 if you are unlucky it wont work.... if you are you could get upto 4MB

I did ask if he meant 1mb, but he insists it's 1gb! Four meg will do nicely if I do get it and it works. Cheers. |

I'm sorry to say that it's very unlikely to be SRAM. It's probably flash (which won't work AFAIK).

It will work, but only as a hard drive (with appropriate drivers) not fast RAM.
