Amiga transparent icons how to
I want to create some transparent icons for my Amiga like those included with AIAB. How can i do this? What programs will i need? I am using Personal Paint 7.1 c will that do?

just set thae transparency of the image you start with to 0 (the first colour) that is usually the one that'll be used as transparent!

I don't know, I have not made Icons for about 8 yrs I'm afraid
 I used a generic Icon program that took an IFF image (or 2) and made the icon for you! |

Thanx lloyd, i have picked some IFF screens 32x32 with Ppaint and converted to Newicons. But it is always drawing borders around icons and i can't make them transparent..

You have to choose "no icon border" either in NewIconsPrefs (OS3.1) or Workbench prefs (OS3.9).
