Another thing to consider is alternate scans, like budget releases, other country releases, updated versions, alt versions, etc. I must admit, I am running out of hard drive space with all of these wonderful uploads, but I wouldn't have it any other way. All contributions are welcome if you think there may be some significant difference that needs looking at (or if yours is different than what is already displaying in HOL).

Yeah, man...lotsa cool scans, very useful. I just grabbed the last of them before having to dash in to work here, but what I saw of them was pretty groovy stuff.

Speaking of Exotica, are you the one that provided them with so many of their scans? I was talking without someone (at TOSEC?) about one of the Exotica contributors and it was someone whom I've been meaning to contact about getting scans from, but have not gotten around to. I must assume that is you, then, since some of the scans in the "A" zip have the Exotica watermark tagged to them.

Oh, and welcome to EAB.

The contributors of most of the exotica scans wouldnt have submitted the scans with the exotica banner on them. There are 2 main exotica scan contributors. Please don't put exotica scans on HOL until i have come to an agreement about them. I just got back from Poland and have yet to reply to some of my mails regarding HOL.

I understand some of the contributors of a few exotica scans have also contributed the images to HOL. Thats not a problem, but many of the scans on exotica took many hours to make. Not only are they scans, but many images are retouched in tvpaint etc to remove tears and unwanted marks. I have to talk to the main contributors about sharing scans between exotica and HOL, and make a decision on the best route to take.

twistin:Yes i contributed some to exotica , sadly if i sent some ofd exotica's taglines onletme know which as then its my fault (i will rescan)

the reason for this is because i got very lazy at some point (as you might see its MANY scans and all was scanned in a period of 3 weeks or so...)
And its a parallelle scanner (mustek 1200cp+) so u may understand tye time consuming

Anyway just tell me what scans that is missing or broken or has a exotica watermark on em (check my list aswell) and let me know (no hurry tou)
and i will rescan and fix as much as possible when ihave a new scanner or my scanner is fixed.

also remeber, ihave over 1400 boxed games (and about 30 non boxed) and ihavent scanned 1 single disk yet (iirc) and alot of the boxes aint scanned ,
i will start scanning all but then it would be nice to have some sort of guideline also (so i dont rescan stuff you allready have!)

pps:i dont think i will ever scan manuals, as that would prob. take 5 years or so

to buzz: let me know when you have sorted exotica and then you can send me a list of what you have scanned/put online (then i will send some more scans to you)
