Cool Air files for Real Spectrum Emulator!

This may be old news. You can record keypresses on the Real Speccy Emulator Via a format called an Air File.
Basically what this means is you can record your movements to the end of a game and watch it over and over again with the recording taking up only a few Kilobytes. This can also be a way of doing highscores competitions etc as it checks the
Z80 file is the same as the competition version to stop cheating. I wonder if this could be converted to other emulators. I have included the Url for you all to peruse of the emulator and some predone
game ends :-)

Problem would be the games which use some sort of random instructions. MAME has it, and I know I had a program for windows which had the ability to record mouse and keyboard.

No matter how well you think minesweeper is going the time you record it you can be sure it's a lousy game next time you play the recording.

Wink You can stop randomizing problems

On Realspectrum, the airfiles have a snapshot syc function which works well with z80 filetypes. "Random" events will then have the same conclusion so this is not a problem.

This is covered in the realspectrum manual more fully and on the Spectrum Airfiles site.
