Chinese Karate

I'm looking for a working version of Chinese Karate.

I have never played the game. But I want to try it out

There seems to be only one version in Tosec. But that is marked [b]. So I guess its broken.

There is screenshots on HOL. So maybe someone have a working version?

It probably wasn't working in an older version of WinUAE, I guess a far few [b]s will work now.

Got it now. Something wrong must have happened when I extracted the zip first time.

Works in 2.3.3.

Select a500 most common and move the slider to best compatibility

This game was pretty good and actually quite playable for a fighting game from 1989.

Played it to the end. So the disk is not [b]ad.

What version did you guys use? The only one I can find is:
Chinese Karate (19xx)(-)[cr Queen][b] & Quartz (19xx)(-)[cr Queen].zip

But can't get it to work with the above suggested configs, I always get visited by the guru. Testing on the latest WinUAE.

Still works.....

If it works using quickstart mode I don't know why anyone would be having problems. Maybe you are using custom configs with settings it doesn't like.

Tried it with the latest official release and beta, using quickstart mode with a500 with 512kb, 1mb, kickstart 1.2 and 1.3 and it works with all of them.

Nope, I'm using quickstart as well and guru pops up on every single a500 quickstart config. I was using a different dump than the one mai uploaded (thanks btw!), but even that one gives me the exact same error. Are you using the same disk mai uploaded Ian?
It's pretty odd a game that works with a default config isn't running on my machine.

I think you will be disappointed by gameplay and it's just waste of time. You can see it here: [ Show youtube player ]

I got it working! It wasn't the slider mai, the disk must have write protection enabled otherwise it will always error out go figure lol
Spent so much time around this one didn't even though about ticking the write protected checkbox.

Thanks for the help, at least got it running and yeah the game is kinda lame
