Jim Power, which is the best version
1. Amiga
2. Atari ST (great AY music but simpler backgrounds and some slowdowns) 3. Sega Genesis (I don't like new hero, but it's still good game) 4. Super Nintendo (weird paralax scrolling and average levels with above view) 5. Amstrad CPC (unfinished? poor music & scrolling) I know that Turbo CD and MS-DOS versions also exist, but I can not find Turbo CD version and DOS version required joystick which I can not connect to my old Toshiba laptop. |

I only know the Amiga, Genesis and SNES versions, but I would rate them like that :
1. Amiga 2. Genesis 3. SNES (so I completly agree with you ) The Amiga version looks just great and even if it was a bit too challenging for my poor skill, it got me playing it for a long time back then. Got the trained version (yeah I'm a cheater ) two years ago and could finally see the end. |

The SNES version is really good also....thinking again...maybe is the winner
it contains more levels than the amiga version and the game seems to be larger http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=8bs4lg2AP2Q http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=ulm7Ai1RaVE |

@S2325 : The crack you use is buggy, i own JP in original on CPC, it works
right to the end, but it's protected and yes many GFX are missing, because it's a port from Atari ST version. |

I'd say the Amiga version's the best, the graphics just look nicer.

I prefer the Amiga version. The Turbo Duo version is a lame port, the controls and scrolling aren't good enough. But it has the best music, some brilliant audio tracks.

I hate ISO+XXX rips, but other links (full ISO's) require registering. I'm too lazy to upload a 1:1 backup. So use this one:

The 'problem' with the Amiga version is that its TOO colourful, hence why the Genesis and ST versions look so flat in comparison.

The SNES version is horrendous to actually play due to the stupid, head-ache inducing graphics that imply the hero is walking around in circles. Less is definitely more in this case.

Is it that way on the real hardware? I watched a couple of those youtube vids and though this had to be a emulator-bug. Gets me sick after a few minutes
