cinemaware triple pack
Just looking through the HOL database as I do from time to time and just wondering... are there some holes (aside from missing pictures) in it...
I can't seem to find a box set that contains Rocket Ranger, Sinbad and the Three Stooges Produced and marketed in Australia by Questor Pty Ltd not a real title as such just enter 3 fabulous worlds... perhaps I've just overlooked it, there is no compilation reference to it from any of the games seperate entries however... help |

There are most definitely holes in the data, and lots of missing compilations. Can you provide some scans of the compilation? I don't like to add compilation entries until they can be verified. Do you have a year of release?, no. disks? etc.

There are six disks in the box...
2 Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon 1986 blue writing on white label 2 the Three Stooges 1987 red writing on yellow label 2 Rocket Ranger 1988 blue writing on gold reflective label a smallish off white manual with brown writing with instructions for the 3 games and one blue decoder wheel for rocket ranger... there is no release date on the actual box... which is a white box with a sleeve... I haven't used my flatbed scanner since I noticed it wouldn't work on my expanded A4000... I was supposed to give it a go on one of my other machines but never got around to it... If I ever get the scanner going I'll let ya know... anyway, thanks for the information... I figured as much |

Ok I've set up a quick hol entry for the compilation based on the info you provided.
http://hol.abime.net/4446 I'll see if I can track it down in any of my ACARs. If you get your scanner up and running scans would be great - if you have a dig camera could you take a quick photo of the box cover so that I can see what it looks like (in case we would decide the name was something else) otherwise no worries. If anyone else has this compilation please send us some scans! |

Magic seven added. Can you please check the release date when you receive the compilation (and scan the box and disks - and Goldrush too ).

When I was working on the Defender of the Crown entry for HOL I remember trying to find ads for these compilations in the ACAR mags to determine their year of release, but I came up empty. I'll have another look when I get around to doing the scans. Let me know if you find anything in the meantime. Lastly, IIRC all these compilations have the word ENTER at the top of the box, but it's not part of the compilation title as such, which is situated lower down amongst the box art. |
