UFO AGA Problems

Ok, so I have UFO loading under WinUAE / WHDLoad but have encountered an unusual error - namely a workbench popup window that appears immediately after the WHDLoad box disappears and the screen goes black, saying

title bar: "Geoscape" or "Tactical", cycling after clicking ok
Message: "No suitable display mode available"

Any ideas folks?

Thanks,

Aljrob

hmmmmies.....

out of curiosity Aljrob, why dont you just install it ? instead of using whd load.

I found this had not only a very similar issue (all though its the ecs version) on my A600 under whdload... i wonder if its not trying to open an ntcs screen or something similar....

pm if you need the aga adf's

Zetro,

I think I'm a bit - I never even checked the disks to see if there was an install routine...

I'll also play around with the PAL / NTSC settings.

I'll give it a go this evening.

Thanks!
