Amiga 1200 wich can boot from CD-rom

Hello, I made short video where I demostrate CD-boot with my towerized Amiga 1200.

CD boot would work even if there is no hard drive or floppy drive, because it is using custom Kickstart.

I used romdisk.device https://github.com/cnvogelg/romdisk and Idefix's CD32 emulator as a way to boot from CD. That way it would allow easy way to play CD32 games, but it can also initialize non bootable CD, like OS2.5/9 install cd. Pressing "Initialize" button starts shell and there I could start OS installation, without installing OS3.1 and CD-device drivers first.

Nice work

I used to use a boot floppy to load CD32 games with my A1200/Squirrel SCSI

And then later I upgraded to a Typhoon 1230 with SCSI and adjusted the boot floppy to run from the Typhoon SCSI instead.

I remember using an OS3.x CD on my real CD32 at one point.

For a long time I stopped using CDs but recently building my A1200 tower I've been setting up the CD Audio for games that have it like TZer0.

I think I used the IDEfix CD32 emulator in the past too.
