Snow in The Zone

Hi, I'm meant to be on my "holiday" right now, but I simply have to request for this:

RCK, could you make the snow graphics thing in the Zone a user-definable option or something if possible? I don't like the fact that it slows my whole system and internet browsing down when I've got the page open!

so why does it affect your systems ?

Probably slows down people with bad 2d graphics adaptors, that could be a reason.

But I have a 3Dfx Voodoo 3 card installed in my system! I wouldn't know if the slowdown would happen on my old Cirrus Logic 2D card, since the cards were swapped round way back at the end of '99, a year and a half (or so) before I discovered this board.

That's a 3D card, and a bad one at it anyway.

It's not slowing down my computer at all

Voodoo 3 also have one weak 2D chipset for simple display.
you should upgrade to Ge-Force.

Man, I saw them , in TWO of the mesages, not in all, that's the strangest part... and I thought my cookie got erased but no, I replied and there I was ! so it's quite strange. I dont see them now!
