Help me Identifying this please.

Ok i have here a pic of some hardware piece.
As far as i can tell it is some SUPRA DRIVE but maybe someone can tell me more. Like which model etc.

Here have a look

It is mounted in some metal "rack" for use in a tower i would say. In the total you can see the connected SCSI HD and a cable that connects to an external SCSI connector.

Looks like it is SupraDrive 2000 WordSync (with "Boil" 3rd party replacement boot ROM, some other controllers also had "Boil" replacement boot ROMs).

Thx for that fast response.

Do you have some info to that "Boil" replacement? Was it a good replacement? Sorry for that many questions.

I haven't used them on real hardware. When I was hunting for rom dumps, I found few "Boil" ROMs for different controllers. They appear to be reverse-engineered and optimized (including even longer unrolled copy loops) official ROMs + some common support code. Probably they are a bit faster, but because main speed limit is PIO-interface, only faster CPU can make big difference in speeds.
