EAB/Lemon Super League 2008: Round 8 Game Vote
EAB/Lemon Super League 2008: Round 8 Game Vote
You can find the full rules here, but briefly: - The voting for Round 8 starts now and will end at 11:59pm UK time on Saturday, July 12. Round 8 will start on Sunday, July 20. - Vote for 5 games. - Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. If you don't, then you will get the treat of a PM from me, asking you to change your vote. If you still don't change it your vote will be discounted. - Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4pts, third 3pts, fourth 2pts, fifth 1pt. Except for TodaysForgotten who has double voting power for the second leg - his first choice will get 10pts, second 8pts, third 6pts, fourth 4pts and fifth 2pts. - Edited votes will be discounted (unless you are told to edit it, and even then you can only edit the game(s) that aren't suitable) - so think before you post. Also you cannot vote for games that have already been played. - Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon. You can only vote once, and also it could cause confusion if you post your vote on both boards - it's easy for it to be counted twice by accident. - If you want to see what the Lemon lot are voting for, click here. - If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state if you want to play the AGA version or not in your vote. If you don't specify we will assume you want the ECS version. If that game wins the vote we will count up the number of ECS and AGA votes and go for the version with most votes - unless the two versions of the games are exactly the same gameplay-wise, then we will use both. - This is the vote for the final round of the second leg. Games Already Played: Super Stardust, Pinball Fantasies, Deluxe Pacman, Jump 'n' Roll, SWIV, The Chaos Engine, Turrican, Alien Breed, Alien Breed 2 Bugged Games: Lotus 2: The different online versions all have different scoring systems. If Lotus 2 is played everyone must use a special version that will be provided by this board, in WHDload and ADF format. (UAE requires A1200 setup, High-Density floppy drive, 4MB Fast RAM) Anyone is welcome to vote, play and chat at any time. May voting commence... To be fair though, it would at least make a change to a game that involves shooting things

You're right Graham, we had plenty shooters so far. But why not choose a Jump 'n Run then? Okay next round I try to come up with five games that doesn't have shooting in them

Erm... Worms? Don't think that would work.
And we've already played SWIV - take a look at the list of games we've already played in the original post... |

That's all well and good, but could you please modify your post to include that, and also think of something to replace Worms too

And after what must be one of the quietest votes we've ever had, that last vote at Lemon really changed things...
1. Lotus 3 - 14 2. Arcade Pool - 13 3. Leander - 13 4. Slam Tilt - 13 5. P.P Hammer - 13 Quite possibly the tightest vote we've had too. Round 8 starts next week; remember you've still got a week left to submit scores for round 7... |
