Calvin Harris didn't use the Amiga for his latest album as far as I'm aware. It was used on his first album but there's not much talk of how much use.
I'll keep banging on about it (see my other thread http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=46392), Paradox, a long time jungle and drum & bass producer still uses his Amiga live on stage for gigs all over the world weekly. www.paradoxmusic.com. |

He doesn't take himself seriously at all - hence the pic above, all his interviews recently have been pretty funny. Pretty rare in the music industry these days, whatever genre you're into.
Don't like his music particularly, but don't think he's a tit. |

I have to admit I rather like 'not alone'. Good dance track. And he just has a laugh which is nice.

Not really into his music and hearing two songs I can't tell for what he uses the Miggy. Dunno, but I guess that makes it 'not impressed' for me.

Cool, thanks Maren.
From what I understand he uses the Amiga to generate quite a lot of sounds, so I don't understand why he doesn't mention any details... what software, what hardware in specific... On the other hand, musicians don't usually list the instruments/hardware they use to "generate" the sounds, so... Now maybe someone actually interested in Amiga's would interview him? Crown? Always loved Alice Deejay, those easy and pure sounds, just the drums, the bass line, some nice high-pitched melody and her lovely voice EDITED: Still, methinks the [ Show youtube player ] was much hotter as she constantly showed her legs and kept it rollin' Last edited by Shoonay; 20 August 2009 at 18:02. |

Do you know "Blue Metal Rose"?
I heard they also use the Amiga for their productions. |
