Anyway... I'm hooked |

Ouch! Didn't realise the slave doesn't save high scores, that's quite surprising actually. It does say in the readme it saves/loads data to disk but obviously it doesn't mean high scores...

With so many players from many different countries I feel the urge to make special rules like this one clear:
(left pics: Outline-mode - Correct! Use this! Thumbs Up! Yay! right pics: Full-mode - Wrong! Don't use that! Thumbs down! Boo! Cheater! ) Although I definitely won't win this round I'm really enjoying this flawless Team17-title. |

Thanks john4p, as always you're a true master to ease our gaming life with your inputs. And you're not alone, because I think I'm gonna suck with this game - always did when it was released. I feared it already for round one, but after Superfrog, I think it will be a very enjoyable game with no pressure. I always liked it. But Castlevania goes first now. |

What AGA config works with the ADF? Tried quickstart 1200, with and without fast RAM, with and without cycle exact and it gurus after after loading.

Try the A500 most common one. That should do the trick

But I wanted to play the AGA version.
Anyway, standard 1200 works in the newest beta. Not sure what WinUAE I had installed. |

226,030 I've been playing this game three hours straight need to stop... One fine game. Should follow Graham's picks more carefully And the slave does save highscores when I boot into a vanilla OS (no patches, Scalos etc.) Last edited by ppill; 08 February 2009 at 18:36. |

Wow, that's a great score!
How did you get the slave to save, by the way? I just quit normally but nothing happened... |

Thanks It was pretty insane.
Are you using ClassicWB? I did save the settings in the game menu and used a non-patched Workbench setup, that's all. |

I remember that using old slaves some time in the past my scores also were saved but it made the game behave strange and sometimes image became corrupted. I switched to the latest version which does not support saving scores (at least on my machine).

No I don't use ClassicWB, I do run patches like NewIcons but don't see why that would make a difference. Didn't try saving the settings at the menu though, kinda thought it would save automatically but clearly I was wrong.

I guess it can get pretty random. I'm using the 16.8 version (WHDLoad).
