Marauder 1-2 copiers

Hi guys,
anyone remember marauder copiers??
I don't remember if there was a marauder 2.0 version...
Anyway... does anyone have them? I'm in copiers-nostalgia mode...

I've got marauder 2 somewhere.

I'll upload tonight unless someone else beats me to it...

There are three disks in the Zone that should include copies of Marauder II (among other things) if my disk labelling is correct... (Hacker's Heaven; Mac's Crack 2 and Hurricane copy)

Can anybody confirm (ie. they have actually seen/used it) that there actually exists a Marauder 1? I'd be interested in seeing it...

I'm quite sure that there never was a Marauder 1 on the Amiga. Marauder II was released in early 1987, so I did a search of the early U.S. Ami mags and couldn't find any ads for Marauder before that time.

There was probably a Marauder 1 review in the US .INFO magazine in '86.

@Retro-Nerd
Wow! I couldn't even find an ad, let alone a review- good work! I don't have that issue of Info.......just got the really early issues of Amiga World and Amazing Computing. Would be interesting to read the review.......anyone got Info 10 in their mag collection? Better still, anyone got Marauder on disk??

Marauder (1?) (tested and working) was sold lately on eBay Germany by Willi (W.A.W. himself):
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=330145630730
So it must exist on Amiga.
Unfortunately my sniper did fail on this one, so i couldn't get it.
But it's not sooo important ...

Ciao, Rick ...

P.S.: i'm not really sure if it's the old Marauder or Marauder II ... the manual could be from Marauder II too ... i didn't ask Willi for it ...

EDIT: i did ask Willi now for it ... maybe he knows better

UPDATE:
Willi said the manual is from Marauder II (at least shows the Marauder II logo) but the disk is from 1986 and shows probably no Marauder II logo.
Unfortunately i got no pic of the disk ...
Spring 1986 was the time for first Marauder reviews.
And the back of the manual says something about the features only in Marauder II.
So it seems they delivered Marauder already with the manual of Marauder II?! And replaced Marauder with Marauder II soon. That's why the first Marauder is so rare.
But only "Discovery Software" would really know what happened back then ...

Ciao, Rick ...

Seems that Willi is spot-on. Here's the photographic proof for the existence of Marauder I (disk and packaging) bundled with the Marauder II manual:

Marauder 1 - Found

Hi All,

Here is some screenshots of what Marauder 1 looks like (see attachments)

I also have Marauder Beta 1.8 in my collection (this one is rather interesting as it has the Marauder II logo but is marked as version 1.8 beta - do not copy)

It is also worth mentioning that the original Marauder did actually come with a 'version 1' manual. The one I have in my collection has the serial # 2200-B (handwritten)
