OpenSSL 1.0.1j command line tool
OpenSSL supports quiet a lot of systems but unfortunately not Amiga OS. Being able to generate and store private keys on a (potential) offline device like the Amiga seems to be a perfect solution. Besides the toolkit offers some really nifty tools.
I am in the process of patching the official package to make it build for m68k Amiga OS 3.0+. Since the codebase is heavily geared towards GCC, I am using GCC to adopt it. I have made a preview release available on Aminet: http://aminet.net/package/util/crypt/openssl My first attempt seems rather successful but there are some odd constructs in the code, file input/output being one of them. If anyone has ever worked with the OpenSSL codebase and have time to give advice, please contact me through my mail as posted on Aminet or in this thread. General opinions, ideas and questions are of course also very welcome. |

I know it's an old thread. I'm trying to use these libs for curl but I get errors as ENGINE seems to be missing. Do you have a newer version with ENGINE?
