The Kiwi's Tale - Full length platformer for CD32
Edit: The official site is http://earok.net/game/kiwis-tale-amiga. The latest 1.1 version supports all chipsets, offers tracker music and improved two player support. Last edited by earok; 27 February 2019 at 09:54. |

Thanks guys
Something I forgot to mention - OCS support is within the realm of possibilities - the only real thing that AGA is used for is the 32 pixel wide sprites, but I can get away with 16 pixel wide sprites by rendering projectiles as Bobs rather than Sprites on the OCS version. It may not run within the traditional A500 parameters of 1MB chip and 68000 though, min requirements will probably still be 2MB chip (so maybe ECS minimum) and 68020. If that's forgivable and if there's any interest, I'll take a look in the weekend. |

@Preseda looks great! Awesomely fast turn around on that page thanks for that Just a couple of notes: - I did port the whole thing single handedly, though there's a few names attached to the original PC version. I presume names attached to non-Amiga versions of games aren't normally included, maybe as a compromise the credit screen for the original team could be included in the screenshot list? I really don't know https://imgur.com/RkZuwDM - It's technically '1 or 2 player simultaneous' due to the ability to remotely control vehicles with the other joystick, though I'm not sure if that crosses the threshold for being counted as a multiplayer game! - It isn't worthy of being linked as a sequel to the New Zealand Story. But if other unofficial/fan sequels are linked that way, I'm totally cool with it |

Thanks zzbylu! I was wondering if you'd do the first fgameplay video.
@predesda thanks for that. I gave it a bit more thought, though I was the only one to code both versions, the others listed in the credits (Stephen Knightly, Matthew Gatland, Joshua Smyth and Kei Kasei) contributed extensively to the design, particularly level design and art. Maybe all four should be listed under design? In a few days I might ask you to add ECS or OCS to the supported chipset lists. |

Cheers @capehorn
I've posted an experimental OCS version that I churned out over the past couple of hours. It comes with major caveats though so it simply won't be playable on a standard A500. Caveats are listed in the original post. |
