Question about A600 keyboards!

Hi all, i was wanting to know if there is any difference in between the green, and blue A600 keyboard membranes!

I have a blue one that is faulty, and i have found a full A600 keyboard for sale but with a green membrane.

I'm not worried about the the different key layouts or languages, just needing to know if they are interchangeable.

Basically can i plug in a keyboard with a green membrane, into an A600 that original had a blue membrane keyboard? And will it work?

Yes, you can replace the entire keyboard. There is just one type of keyboard connector on the motherboard.

Thanks mate. As i can't find any blue versions available, i may have to get the green one i found for sale.

The green and blue membranes are not interchangable. The blue membrane keyboards are really rare (it took me ages to find one and then I got screwed over by an unscrupolous seller on amibay) but they are better quality.

Basically if you have keys designed to work with the blue membrane, they won't work with the green one and vice-versa. But A600 motherboard will accept both.

Thanks for the info guys, i think i might of sourced a blue membrane to match my current keyboard. If not i will look at fully replacing the keyboard.
