Glad you won Group D in Round 1 and not LinesMachine.

No, I wouldn't have stood a chance. He'll probably get a -10.

@el_pasi: Won't try to further improve. So if you can get a -2 you'll proceed to the semifinal.

@john4p: You can safely start concentrating on next round I'll surely try again, but there's no way I could score -2. Maybe +5 could be reachable on a good day.

Okay, thanks for the info.

This game can be quite frustrating - one misclick potentially ruins a whole run.

That tension is what I loved about it.

Yeah I also did in the 3 weeks league round. But at this time of the year I don't need this tension.

Back earlier this year, when I first starting playing this game I hit a brick wall after a few hours of play. I just couldn't get more than about 2/3 under by the end of the course. I found that I was just pushing it too hard. I found if I "reset" myself mentally between each hole it really helped. forget the overall score. Just think about par and plod towards it. You'll find the odd Birdie happens, which is great, but you'll never go much more than one over equally. A good run and you'll find a -7/8 is suddenly in your grasp!

Good advice - I'll do it like this next year when we play PGA European Tour AGA.

That will probably suffice so you, LinesMachine, Parpala and I proceed to the semifinal.

Only 36 hours left for steef, el_pasi, Joni and lifeschool to change that.

I'm not sure why the narrative was that I had Steef beaten, he had already said that he had only had one go and that he was going to try again.

This is a little more like it, although I am sure I can do better (two of the non-pars were due to very careless errors)

77

It was a stealth encouragement for steef to try again close to the end of this round.
But I'm pretty sure this +5 now will be enough.

edit: Oh, a +7 by steef now - maybe it's not over yet.
