Adding other video codecs to WinUAE
HI,
I apologise if this has already been asked but I have tried searching for the answer and it's not obvious what the answer is. When I record video using the output options in the latest version of WinUAE I end up with huge (probably 2GB per 30 seconds of recording) video file sizes that then get added to. I'm using WinUAE in full screen mode at 1366x768, if I reduce the size to 640x480 I get more recording time but the files are still huge. The codec I'm using is the Intel IYUV one that seems to be installed. Is there any way I can get WinUAE to record video and not create huge file sizes by installing other Codecs? Hope this makes sense. Thanks to anyone who can help me with this. mcgeezer |

Great response. I've installed the Tech Smith Screen Capture codec and now I can record 30 seconds of video with a file size of 10MB - perfect. |
