Retro Gamer eMag DVD release!
I've just spotted in Issue 40 of Retrogamer that they have now compiled the first 30 issues of Retrogamer onto a DVD!
More details here; http://www.imagineshop.co.uk/item_sh...7&action=emags |

Well I got my copy today.
The magazines themselves are all in .pdf format - the scans are very good and clear Not had chance to go through them all yet though The DVD menus have an animated Manic Miner theme to them which is pretty funky! The bonus stuff; Create your own covers of RG Wallpapers for the PC (some nice a1200/cd32 closeups (one of each)) Big Interview on Retro Gamer, past and new 257 page pdf of Retro Book issue 1 - tis huuuge not managed to wade through it all yet! So there you go Worth it? Yep Last edited by Paul_s; 21 July 2007 at 23:23. |

Chances are this will find its way onto P2P or Usenet soon enough and you can look for yourself.
I wouldnt buy it since I have all the issues anyway, pity it isn't a subscriber bonus or something. I mean I'd be happy to get it and use it but pay again for the content? Nein danke! |

In one of the issues they had A1200 retroinspection with top 10 A1200 games, history etc.
There are couple of reviews of amiga games in issues I checked. Also I noticed that they removed some pages and replaced them with ID logo. (I didn't check, but it must be ad that they removed) Also there is nice search engine, which I will use later today to check how much amiga stuff is in all 30+ issues. Great deal for 20 pounds. |

I just compared scans found at EAB of issue 1 with PDF in mag and it is different (shorter).
There are some amiga games reviews (Simon, Speedbal etc.) and coverage of A1200 I mentioned before. A lot of retro stuff, worth the money. |
