Never quite figured out where the sense of entitlement of Amiga release comes from,.

Yup, it was released:

They will never let this game out for Amiga. Maybe in 20 years, but not now.

System 3 is against releasing old titles...... or otherwise the ADFs of this would have been already released....

Happy

If anyone is really passionate about this and want another way to bring it to System 3's attention you could respond to their official Twitter account.

http://twitter.com/#!/puttysquad

Personally I don't use Twitter but I'm sure there are some here that do.

There's always the SNES version and ZSNES, although some people complained about the multi-button controls and smaller screen size.

The scrolling is much smoother than the AGA demo though (50/60FPS instead of 25/30FPS). I found the latter gave me sea-sickness back in the day. I hate forced 25/30FPS scrolling. Looks like poor optimisation to me.

Still, perhaps System3 could be bribed if there are any wealthy enough Amiga enthusiasts out there.
It would make sense in the interest of software preservation.

P.S. Commercially speaking, System3 could probably sell a boxed Amiga version for £1000 and get several buyers. :P

is not only the multi-button controls that sucks on the SNES
the music on the amiga version is much better ....was done by Jason page and incredible composer which also did the incredible tunes for Fire and Ice

the music on the SNES is ugly it seems was done by richard joseph another great composer but the music is ugly
for example the main putty squad theme on the Amiga which is beautiful it does not exist in the SNES version

I hope they release the game for the ps3 and vita
they said the game would be ready on feb 2012.....now they changed to date to abril
it seems that in april they will change the date to june
