It's like a juced with the betting. Got as far as that and gave up. I hate games you have to spend (what seems like an eon) setting up.

Unfortunately for me it's not playable in default WinUAE settings. You have to change port 1 to keyboard b to select player 2 on my laptop.

Crazy Cars III has a better soundtrack for sure, with the perfect mood for the style of game.

The option to bet against your rivals in the race adds a great dynamic feature to single player mode which unfortunately you never see adopted in modern racing games.

The game is a bit too slow in two player mode on a basic A500 but fast on a A1200 .
I transfered it yesterday and it is worth playing in 2 players mode definitively^^.

Hello all!
Would it be possible to re-upload this file in the zone?

I wasn't able to find it in the FTP server... thanks!

I downloaded the file and I would like to write it back in a floppy (my original disk 1 doesn't work anymore).

I tried to convert the adf file to ipf file with disk-analyse (a free Linux tool I found here) but it gives me an error.

I also read that PowerCopy is able to write extended adf file but I don't know hot to do that since I have to choose a path as "source device" not a file...

Could anyone suggest me what to do? Thanks!

Lamborghini Challenge use a long track, which can't be copied back. If you want to copy it back, just download a cracked version

Thanks, I've already found an adf without cracktro that looks like the original but I was curious if it was possible to "convert" some way an extended adf (not just for this game but with different games as well).

I read that it is possible to do something using MFMWarp or WWarp but I don't know ho to use those programs (and if they really help for my "purpose").

Lamborghini use a long track, which is $19XX long, when a standard drive can only write $1871 (something like that).

Very interesting!!!

I read that it "Converts From & To: SPS/IPF, SPS/CTRaw, ADF, Extended ADF, LibDisk (.DSK), Supercard Pro (.SCP), ImageDisk (.IMD), Sector Image (.IMG)".

Is it really able to convert, for example, from Extended ADF to IPF ??

Is there a Windows version?

I tried to convert and was also unsuccessful.
The game needs to be added in formats database in disk-analyse it seems.
Keir you reading this ? (oh and nice job with HFE support)

Code:
pilfinger@pilfinger-VirtualBox ~/Shared $ disk-analyse -fprobe_amiga Lambo1.adf Lambo1.ipf
T0.0-78.1: AmigaDOS
T79.0: Unformatted*
T79.1-83.1: Unformatted
** WARNING: 1 tracks are damaged or unidentified!
Using 'all' parameter isn't any good either:
Code:
pilfinger@pilfinger-VirtualBox ~/Shared $ disk-analyse -fall Lambo1.adf Lambo1.ipf
T0.0-78.1: AmigaDOS
T79.0-82.1: Raw SD
T83.0-83.1: Unformatted
disk-analyse: IPF: Switching to SPS encoder.
The image boots and seems to work, but as soon as you are about to start a race, it locks up and crashes after a short while.

The copy protection of Lamborghini is not handled by disk-analyse, because it's an ST/IBM protection track, not an amiga one

That's why disk-analyse reports it as 'unformatted'.

I would like to test it with some programs/formats, too , but I don't have/want Linux.

Could someone be kind enough to compile a Windows executable of disk-analyse and Zone it?

There is a Windows version of disk-analyse (that, initially, it seems was called mfmparse) I have no idea if it works or not But you can read more here:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=62217and here
http://forum.kryoflux.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=324

Windows version of disk-analyse is in the zone (I don't remember where I took it from and I never used it since I don't use Windows systems).
